Park&Son (“us,” “we,” or “our”) operates the www.parkandson.com website and the Park&Son mobile application (the “Service”).

Park&Son recognizes the value of your privacy and ensures transparent processing of your information. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and sharing of your personal information or personal data when you use the Park&Son Platform. Park&Son is the data controller of personal information collected through the Park&Son Platform. This Privacy Policy applies to the activities of Park&Son and its affiliates and subsidiaries. Terms not defined in this Privacy Policy are referred to the meaning given in the Terms of Service section. For clarity, “personal information” means information about an identified or identifiable natural person.

This page tells you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information collection and use

We collect information directly from individuals, from third parties, and automatically through the Park&Son Platform. If you choose not to disclose certain personal information, it may limit your access to certain services or features, including account registration and the ability to link to other Park&Son users or share content on other sites.

Account and Profile Information: When you create an account and profile on the Park&Son Platform, we collect your name, contact information, and other information you provide, such as age range and gender. To protect your privacy, the platform, by default, sets in your profile as not directly identifiable (through the use of a registration ID). Should you change the default settings, Your name and any other information you choose to add to your profile will be available for viewing to Park&Son Platform users. Once you create a profile, Platform users will be able to see your activities on Park&Son, such as votes, answers to questions, media you follow, basic data).

Types of data collected

Personal data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

– Email address
– First and last name
– Phone number
– Address, State, Province, Zip Code, City
– Cookies and usage data

 

Usage data

We collect and store information and content posted on the Park&Son Platform, including votes, responses, and interactions with the platform. If you decide to change the default anonymous mode, your Content, date and time, and all associated votes and responses are viewable on the Park&Son Platform, along with your name. Your profile will also become visible through sharing a vote.

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service from or through a mobile device (“Usage Data”).

This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s IP address, browser type and version, the pages of our Service you visit, the time and date of your visit, the location and time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

When accessing the Service from or through a mobile device, usage data may include information such as the type of mobile device used, unique mobile device ID, mobile device IP address, location, mobile operating system, type of mobile Internet browser used, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Communications: When you communicate with us (by email, telephone, through the Park&Son Platform, or otherwise), we may maintain a record of your communications.

Integrated Service Provider and Connected Networks: You may choose to access or sign up for the Park&Son Platform through a connected network (e.g., Facebook), and you may connect your existing Park&Son account with certain third-party networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (each a “connected network”). If you choose to register or connect to a Linked Network, we receive certain profile and account information from the appropriate network. These Linked Networks may also appear in your profile so that users can find you on these Linked Networks. The specific information provided is determined by these third parties and may vary depending on the network. In all cases, the permissions page for the Connected Network will describe the information shared. You should consult their respective privacy policies for information about their practices.

Tracking and data cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and retain certain information.

Cookies are files with small amounts of data that may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a Web site and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our service.

No cookies are used on the user application. We only use external services (Firebase) for analytics and crash/check application stability

– Provide our services. To provide the services we offer on the Park&Son platform, communicate with you about your use of the Park&Son platform, answer your questions, provide troubleshooting, and for other customer service purposes.

To personalize the content and information we may send or display to you on the Park&Son platform, to suggest followers and content, to offer location personalization and personalized help and instructions, and to otherwise customize your experiences while using the Park&Son platform.

– Advertising. To display interest-based advertising to you in the Park&Son platform, to improve our advertising and measurement systems so that we can show relevant ads, and to measure the effectiveness and reach of ads and services. – Marketing and Promotions. For marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send you news and newsletters, special offers and promotions, or to otherwise contact you about products or information that we think may be of interest to you, including information about third-party products and services.

– Compliance with the law. To comply with legal obligations, as part of our general business activities and for other business administration purposes.

– Preventing Abuse. Where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, or violations of our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.

How we share your information

We share information as outlined below and where individuals have otherwise consented:

– Media and content providers. We share metrics, interactions, and user information with content providers to enable them to analyze their broadcasts.

We may share user information with third-party service providers who use that information to perform services for us, such as payment processors, hosting providers, auditors, consultants, advisors, customer service and support providers, as well as with those who assist us in providing Ad Services.

– Affiliates. Information collected about you can be accessed by or shared with Park&Son Srl’s subsidiaries and affiliates whose use and disclosure of personal information is subject to this Privacy Policy.

– Business Transfers. We may disclose or transfer information, including personal information, as part of mergers, sales and transfers of our business, acquisitions or restructuring of all or part of our business, bankruptcies or similar events.

– Your Content and Activity. User interactions, including profile data, are available to other Park&Son Platform users and may be publicly viewable. User Content may be indexed by search engines. For information on how to change the way certain information is shared or viewed by others, see the User Choices section below.

– Metrics. We may share with users of our advertisers, media, or publishers aggregate statistics, metrics, and other reports on the performance of their ads or content on the Park&Son platform, such as the number of unique user views, demographics of users who viewed their ads or content, conversion rates, and date and time information.

– Anonymized and aggregated data. We may share aggregated or unidentified information with third parties for research, marketing, analytics, and other purposes, provided that such information does not identify a particular individual.

Park&Son Ads and Personalization

On the Park&Son platform, we may display publisher content tailored to your interests or personalized ads (including sponsored content) to you, based on information we have collected through the platform.

Data Transfer

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to computers located outside your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the European community and choose to provide information to us, please note that data, including Personal Data, is transferred to and processed in the European community.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by your submission of such information, represents your consent to such transfer.

Park&Son will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of Personal Data to any organization or country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of user data and other personal information.

Data Security

The security of your information is important to us. Park&Son has implemented safeguards to protect the information it collects. However, no website or Internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to take steps to keep your personal information safe, such as choosing a strong password and keeping it private, as well as logging out of your user account, and closing your web browser once you have finished using the Park&Son platform on a shared or unsecured device.

 

Accessing and editing information

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform services related to the Park&Son platform, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these activities on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

 

Analytics

We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our service.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize ads in its ad network.

Links to Other Sites

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not target children under the age of 16 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Deleting or Deactivating Your Account.

If you choose Delete your account in the settings, then all of your content will be removed from public view on the Park&Son platform, and may not be restored by us, even if you change your mind. If you choose to deactivate your account, you will no longer receive any communication from us and users will not be able to interact with you; however, your content will remain on the Park&Son Platform. Once you deactivate your account, you can reactivate it at any time by choosing to log back in.

Your Rights

Park&Son offers users simple procedures for exercising choices about their personal information on the Park&Son Platform.

Amendment on access, deletion, transferability, objection and other rights. If you wish to access or update your profile, or exercise certain opt-out rights, you can do so online by visiting the “profile” settings in your account. In addition, users may also have the right to receive certain personal information in a commonly used format, where technically feasible, and, under certain conditions, to object to or limit our use of certain personal information. You may also contact our Privacy Coordinator, as set out below, to access or amend your personal information, to request rectification, erasure or cessation of the processing of your personal information, to withdraw your consent to our processing, and, if you reside in the EEA, to exercise your opt-out rights or to make a data portability request.

Requests should be directed to privacy@parkandson.com (or the Contact information listed below). Please note that some services will not be available if you withdraw your consent, or delete or refuse our processing of certain personal information. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

Complaints. You also have the right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Retention of your data

We will generally retain your profile and related personal information for as long as you have an account with us. If you wish to be “forgotten” by Park&Son (e.g., request deletion of your personal information from Park&Son and the Park&Son Platform), you will need to delete your account (see the “Your Choices” section above). If you delete your account, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we will retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain appropriate business records, and enforce our agreements. In addition, interactions posted on the platform, such as votes or responses, may continue to appear on the Park&Son Platform, but your user name will be removed from such content.

 

Changes to this privacy policy

If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on this page. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy that materially alter the way we process your personal information, we will endeavor to provide you with reasonable notice of such changes, such as by means of a prominent notice on the Park&Son Platform or at your registration email address, and where required by law, we will obtain your consent or give you the opportunity to opt-out of such changes.
